For this project we were placed in 23 per group to come up with a video that represents Malaysia by showcasing the interrelationships between each race and ethnicity. 

 

We did not want to make a general skit video so we decided to write an original Malay song and make a music video out of it. Five of us worked on the song from producing to songwriting. The whole process for the song took about four days while the music video took about three days to complete. Lyrically we wanted it to lift the spirits of the people in Malaysia while also highlighting the beauty of the people working together as a country. As for the music video, we wanted to showcase the popular landmarks in Malaysia as well as the culture here so it goes hand in hand with the song perfectly. All in all it was a great learning curve to come up with a song this fast and it was a success to say the least.
